Hybrid Classes

Our hybrid course allows you to learn at your own pace online and then simply scheduling a class at our facility to show hands on skills. 

Following are the Hybrid Classes we offer:

BLS HYBRID CLASS


Part 1 of the BLS Hybrid class involves taking an appropriate course online  

Class Name:    BLS for Healthcare Providers Online part 1

​

In this online class, students will learn single-rescuer and team basic life support for adults, children and infants through 5 interactive exercises, scenarios and a written test. Navigation controls allow students to move easily through content as they learn how to recognize life-threatening emergencies, provide high-quality chest compressions, deliver appropriate ventilation and provide early use of an AED. Course also teaches relief of choking.

This self-paced course is accessible anytime from any computer. Students can access the BLS for Healthcare Providers Student Manual, BLS Pocket Reference Card and more for 24 months.

This course may be used for initial or renewal BLS for Healthcare Providers Course completion.


Cost:  $28.50

Class Length:  1-2 Hours



Once you have completed the Part 1 of the BLS hybrid course, print out the class completion certificate and bring it to our class for the part 2 of the course. Once completed, you will be eligible to receive BLS Certification Card


Part 2 of the class involves hands on skills. Here you will be able to demonstrate what you  have learned  to of our instructors at our location

HEARTSAVERS FIRST AID/CPR/AED HYBRID CLASS


Part 1 of the Heartsaver First Aid/CPR/AED Hybrid Class included taking an online course


​Class Name: Heartsaver® First Aid Online Part 1


This course from the American Heart Association has been updated to reflect new science based on the 2010 AHA Guidelines for CPR and ECC.

Heartsaver First Aid Online is a self-directed course that uses interactive lessons and videos to teach you comprehensive first aid knowledge. This program is for anyone with limited or no medical training who needs an AHA course completion card. You will learn:

  • First aid basics
  • Medical emergencies
  • Injury emergencies
  • Environmental emergencies

First Aid instruction includes bandaging, bleeding, wounds, choking, shock, seizure, fainting, broken bones, sprains, burns, bites, stings, poison, and temperature-related conditions, to name a few.


Class Cost: $28

Class Length: 1.5 hours



Once you have completed the Part 1 of the Heartsaver First Aid/CPR/AED Hybrid Class, print out the class completion certificate and bring it to our class for the part 2 of the course. Once completed, you will be eligible to receive the First Aid/CPR/AED Card, which will be good for 2 years

Part 2 of the course involves hands skills. Here you will be able to demontrate what you have learned to one of our instructors at our location
